• On 27 July 2023, the Prime Minister of Malaysia launched a 10-year period economic narrative framework, “Ekonomi MADANI: Memperkasa Rakyat” which aims at reconstructing and re-engineering Malaysia to become a highly competitive, sustainable, and resilient economy.  

• The framework navigates our desired economic development path (mission, execution, and targets) as well as offers clarity on what we aim to achieve; what are the broad strategies and enablers to get there from where we are now.

• It includes seven (7) intermediate indicators as medium-term targets to be achieved within 10 years.
